Does this sound familiar?
You’ve spent years building a life, working hard or being there for others. Now something has shifted. You might be finding your feet after separation, putting off a decision, or tired of second-guessing yourself. Here, there’s room to ask: what do I want for myself?
When an old story about yourself starts deciding what you will—or won’t—try.
When a familiar pattern shows up in relationships, decisions or the way you treat yourself.
When life changes, or you’re ready for it to, and you want a clearer sense of direction.
The way we work
You bring what matters to you. We explore it together, without judgement, pressure or labels. The aim is to understand what’s influencing your choices and find a step you’re willing to take.
What’s happening, what feels difficult, and what would you like to be different? We start with where you are.
Explore the assumptions you’ve been living by, where they came from and whether they still serve you.
Choose a realistic next step: a conversation you’ve been avoiding, a boundary you want to express, or a decision you’re ready to explore. You decide what fits your life.
Meet Joe Cannata
“I’ve had to question beliefs I’d carried for years, too.”
I’m an Australian born to Italian immigrant parents, a father to two adult sons, and someone who knows what it means to build a life—and then reconsider the direction it’s taking.
My path to coaching has developed alongside a full life: raising a family, navigating marriage, running a business and employing people. Across almost forty years as an entrepreneur in the construction industry, I’ve experienced the pressures of providing, making difficult decisions and being someone others depend on. I’ve known the satisfaction of success, made mistakes and faced setbacks, with each experience teaching me something about responsibility, resilience and myself. I’ve also been the mate people turn to when they need someone to listen and help them talk things through.
Alongside those responsibilities, I’ve spent decades exploring and researching personal growth and questioning the beliefs that shape our lives. That longstanding pursuit has informed the coaching approach I continue to develop and refine today.
After my almost thirty-year marriage ended, that pursuit became deeply personal. I had to apply what I’d been exploring to my own life: examining my beliefs, recognising familiar patterns, identifying beliefs passed down through generations and choosing a new direction.
Today, through Eighth Way Mastery, I bring that lived experience, ongoing learning and practical insight to helping people understand what’s holding them back, question beliefs that no longer serve them and move forward with clarity and confidence. Together, we clarify what you want to change and identify practical steps toward a life that reflects your values and aspirations.
